Expo throwback: ZBIGNIEW DŁUBAK in Paris

Avant-garde, abstract, surrealism, black and white photography.
This exhibition is a food for thought, makes you turn your head left and right in order to figure out the image and the message.

Zbigniew Dłubak, a Polish photographer (1921-2005) is showing us a pretty sad vision on life, mostly influenced by his imprisonment in the Mauthausen concentration camp.
His photographs, as well as some paintings and sketches, are made of indefinable shapes that stimulate the imagination.

My personal favorite part was the ‘nude’ series – when seeing it up front you see clean and clear images of nudity but when looking from the distance, yet another unidentified forms are being created.
This is the kind of art you must see, judge and contemplate for your own-self.

If you’re in Paris and happen to be in the Montparnasse neighborhood visit the expo at the Fondation Henri Cartier – Bresson, you will not regret it.
